35mm Pirelli Cinturato on the general purpose bicycle - commuting and any other ride at risk of being wet. Wouldn't want anything much narrower for London road surfaces. I run those at 50 / 45 psi front and back.

Currently 28mm rear (622) and 32mm (406) front on recumbent.  I normally run 32mm rear as well.  I just prefer to float over rough road surfaces, rather than pick up vibrations.  I’m relatively light, 69kg, and can run front at 50 psi, and rear 55-60 psi which gives a smooth buttery ride with no loss of speed.

"Artists battle to save Bristol studios in Banksy neighbourhood"

I do approve of the Graun's lumping all such folk together under the label creatives.

Your Welsh Weather is heading across the border. But at least it held off yesterday while we were dancing in the street.

It rained in the night, and the air when I opened the shutters this morning was delightful.  After I'd showered and dressed I stuck my nose out again for another lungful, and realised that one of the village farmers had been tossing his byre.

Rides and Touring / Re: ACME Miscellany

On Sat evening, I was sitting with my helper eating our snacks, in Chipping Campden, whilst route checking my Jelly Fish Legs 400. Who should ride by at this point, but Tomsk. Riding his one way Gavin and Stacy 400 perm, before some mid Wales touring, then Bryan Chapman 600 next weekend.

Small world.

I was responding to the very general statement made on a 'green' website.
It was quixoticgeek who talked about the data centres they'd visited.

Are you getting new cranks?

For pressfit Shimano-standard BB86 is generally considered the best

Ctrl-Alt-Del / Moving to Win11 without a Microsoft Account
« Last post by JennyB on Today at 10:35:50 am »
I never used a Microsoft account on Windows 10. My needs are simple, (mostly LibreOffice, Obsidian and Brave) and are still well-served by a Lenovo ThinkCentre wth 8 gigs of RAM and an i5-8400T 1.7 GHz CPU.

How do I migrate to Win11 while keeping things as simple as possible?
