The last thing I need is another App to check in on at a pub.

OD GSTQ Level 5 - Apprentice

If only there was an app that logged G&Ts and Merlot.

I'm actually quite pleased I'm not performing well on the drinking stakes, at least as judged by one metric.  There have been a number of occasions this year where I have found myself somewhat worse for wear, I was beginning to worry that a trend was developing.

Cut out the merlot and cocktails and concentrate on ale instead

You will remain in control of what remains of your faculties and enhance your Untappd profile.  Everyone's a winner.

If only it was that simple!  I can't just drink ale, there are so many other flavours to enjoy ... Horlicks, Merlot, Bovril, espresso Martini plus the rest of the cocktail list etc ...

A snapshot this morning reveals the following worrying stats:

Huggy - GSTQ Level 8 - Journeyman

Where is the dedication ?
I'd like to make an observation and a comment on my logged beverages in Untappd.

First the observation - you clearly have far too much idle time on your hands, ted
Secondly, I tend to only log first sample of a beer on a given day and not bother with multiple samplings of each, I'll leave you to decide where that would elevate my statistics to.
Never knowingly underfed on an Audax

Quiet day at work....I have just bought a new tent and a sleeping mat. I figured that my 4 day 'tour' in June deserved more than my coffin sized one man job and that a rolled up foam mattress was so old fashioned.

If Catherine ever decides to check how much I paid for the tent I might well be sleeping in it a lot but after having a string of cheap tents that barely last a trip I would go for something in the middle of the price ranges.

Woohoo, that should mean that I will be much better equipped to camp at the next epiphany.

edit: I mention the Epiphany as it is much closer than the 2017 Arrow

Good point - who did we elect as Epiphany 2017 organising committee?

How are the arrangements progressing? ;)

I think chief had the much more expensive version  ;D

Nice tent though, many happy sleeps in it tippers.

 ;D

I was struggling with if I should actually spend that money or not on a tent. The not have to thread poles through sleeves was what really made me look at it seriously and I figure I will just have to find reasons to use it more now!

Anyway, what time are folks heading down to the Shooting Star tomorrow?

Brill and Brill - especially if this guarantees another musical performance from OD

An excellent choice. I have the Hubba Hubba HP which, I think, has less mesh than the NX. It is easy to put up, has good space inside and, having 2 porches, means bags etc can be stored easily.

Probably mid-late afternoon. More than that I cannot say, due to having family in tow...
