More than plenty here still - I think that means 7 weeks continuous coverage.  Was in Keith (the town!) today - roads covered with an inch or two.  Good news is it's now appreciably warmer and it might just melt...

Snow in North Herts too, while I drink my coffee and see if my tyre deflates again.  Not settling, and the ground seems warm enough that it probably won't unless we get a really heavy flurry.

While I'm generally a big advocate of SNO, I'm starting to feel that it's interfered with enough of my attempts to get a long ride in this year...

It's sort of attempting to snow in Croyon, what is generally called something like wintery showers.  It's drizzle with mixed in flakes every so often.

It's not really cold enough to settle, or evidently to actually snow properly.

I should have expected it.  Yesterday I swapped over my tyres for a new pair.  I could have as easily fitted the studded ones, but didn't because it wasn't snowing, or even threatening to be that cold.
Actually, it is rocket science.

It's snowing(ish) in Cambridge.  The ride in was interesting.

Unfortuantely, the ground is too wet for it to settle...  :(

No, "tree" snowflakes would be Irish snow.

Three snowflakes in London is a blizzard.

Cold rain here in Saarfend, with an occasional snowflake in the general moistness.

Some heavier bursts have left a slushy haze over the grass a few times this morning, but it soon melts when it eases off. Chucking it down at the mo.

Bloody cold here (3 degrees or less) and a stiff north easterly, I think.

I've just put the heating on as I can't fit another jumper or coat around me.

Left the house in the middle of a slushy-sleety-haily blizzard this morning. Apparently, it's been snowing on and off all day in East Kent, but not too cold despite the same stiff nor'easterly that Pancho mentions. Oh joy.

My snow tyres that I ordered a few weeks ago still haven't arrived. I mean, it's obvious, isn't it - we wouldn't be getting more snow if they'd turned up by now, would we?

It snowed on me all the way to work this morning.  Didn't settle, but I did have to stop to do my coat up and put my gloves on.  And had mildly chilly feet by the time I got there.  If it carries on like this I might have to resort to socks again!

Rather less than a centimetre of SNO has settled here, 200 metres from the North West Frontier of the London Postal Region.
My Danish mother returns from Foreign Climes tomorrow and will be underwhelmed.

Well - well done on getting some on the ground at least. Despite 5 hours of falling snow (sometimes heavy) today, it managed to produce precisely none on the ground. Now that's just lazy, I think...

I got lightly snowed on most of the way home, but it's not settling at all, and in places the ground was basically dry!  It's above zero, about 1°C, so that's not really surprising.

Interestingly some parked cars seems to provide a better platform for snow than others, and were quite white.  It could have been that some cars were warmer from when they were running, but by this time, most cars should have cold down to the ambient, so I guess it's just different "stickiness" and textures of some paints.
