p.s. High Roding is not a winter option for me from the COG

Consulting a learned source … https://www.acronymfinder.com/COG.html … I’ve filtered the abbreviation down to 3 options:

 - Component Obsolescence Group
 - Crazy Old Guy
 - Cranky Old Git
All of which are perfectly reasonable solutions to the acronym referenced for the target contingent, however, there is a fourth meaning which was in fact intended:
Centre of Gravity (COG) of MEMWNS members
That used to be very conveniently close to the NW corner of Shitham but may have drifted slightly westwards in recent times. The Keeper of the COG may be along with an updated pin to indicate the current location.

If I can be arsed that is....   ;D

In fact here.... pretty much definative proof that SH is the COG of MEMWNS !

I am ashamed that I drove to the SH last week.  I think that, other than josser, I live closest.

So where is the Witham peloton headed?   And do we actually have a peloton this evening?

I'll aim for 8pm too, any idea what sort of time people normally head home (so I can set expectations with Mrs B)?

^^^ Is a good answer. Thursday is possibly more useful. Best to under promise and over deliver. Phrase of the day… “Don’t wait up love!”

I think my record as 3am Thursday. Many moons ago after the infamous lock in at The Leather Bottle, Pleashy before it got done up.

I am aiming for the Layer Fox at 8.30 and looking forward to watching the FWP arrive in close formation.

Any ideas for tomorrow night? Not been out for a while so western friendly location would be nice but trying to avoid split - Notley area.

If we’re having to split, I’d suggest Hatfield Broad Oak!!
