Ok, where haven't we been for a while out west? Black Lion, High Roding; Duke's Head, Hatfield Broad Oak?

Either venue. Should be able to get there around 8pm

I’m happy with either. The Black Lion might be easier for JellyLegs?

Either are good for me, I would be coming from Ongar direction anyway and might be car assist.  Early evening nursing and shopping duties as mum has had her second knee replacement last week so I need to check in on her first.

I'm off to BFCs to drop a wheel off after work.   I have an early start Thursday morning as I'm back at work but need to work on my attendance record.

Still testing positive for Covid which I was thinking would be gone today as I had feint lines on the test yesterday, but they’re back and stronger than ever this morning. Will have to catch up with you guys next week.

There's a worrying amount of it about at the moment.  Shame there's not another round of boosters for all immanently available. GWS fella.  :-*

I’m expecting an appeal from Huggy requesting that we all start planting hops in our gardens to secure his supply chain in future years. As his production thrives and the quality of other brewers declines, his brewery will become the sole supplier of the Compasses, and the full beer lifecycle is established with the growers consuming the fruits of their gardens.

I was going to request a localish destination for this week but have just reviewed the weather forecast for Wednesday evening so I'll probably take another recovery week and not venture out on the bike.
Two seats have been reserved for Tuesday evening to attend Haxell Junior's talk about epic rowing adventures at the SH (motorised transport will be invoked).

Unless the forecast improves dramatically, I am going to "do a Huggy" as well.

There was rumour that my Strava Stalker is in the UK and was hoping to be present this Wednesday but looking at the forecast I am also thinking it is a bit damp to be venturing out....  I've a lot of CBA at the moment esp with it now dark very early...

Maybe we should be cycling in daylight more then - how about that promised ride to the Fat Cat one weekend?

Not sure where the Memwns meet this week will be, or who might be going, but I want to give you advanced warning that Mrs Tandemaniac's sister is visiting from the Big Apple and we are threatening to bring her out on Wednesday. She is looking forward to meeting some ACME folk. I believe there is a beer festival a Wetherspoons this week, just saying.........

Fat Cat is a good shout, if we can work it so that the trains are actually running for a return then I have a route already with lunch at Assington and destination Fat Cat.  Railway track at Hadliegh was the only COR I recall being involved https://ridewithgps.com/routes/44292264  More COR could be added if desired :)

I'm currently calorie counting but good news is the menus in 'spoons provide that info, the other issue is wet... which looks like I might only avoid using team car as an option. 60/40 at the moment... if I can get out lunchtime to burn some aformentioned energy then I may well be along
