Grey text on web pages
« on: 30 June, 2019, 08:12:31 pm »
I'm sick of seeing grey text on web pages. Is there a way to change grey text to black without affecting the background?

In Firefox, in preferences I tried to change the text colour as specified by a web page but it seems you can only change both text and background colour.

If you don't change the background colours, you could get black text on a black background.

I did try to search for an add-on with "change text colour" but didn't find anything but "make text darker" did turn up 2: Blacken and Nosquint.

Blacken seems to work. I'm actually using Waterfox which is fork of Firefox and doesn't use the current Firefox add-ons, but the old add-ons are available from https://legacycollector.org/firefox-addons/index.html
