Title: Ox tail
Post by: Frere on 16 November, 2011, 10:17:21 pm
Bought a pack of ox tail today, what to do with them? have in mind a slow casserole or something like that, not a soup, any suggested recipes YACFters may know please?

Many thanks,

Frere

Slow casserole definitely, but cook it twice. Let it cool, then take the fat off and reheat when needed.

Give it an extra hot autoclave to kill the prions

Lentils (green) make a nice addition to the stew. Serve with mash.
