Set up a direct debit today for my AUK sub. No conformation by email, nor has it been updated on their site. Guessing this is normal?

That's how it was with mine, it's via a third party so I got an acknowledgement from them when it was due to be taken.

Direct debit processing is currently a bit manual, so there is no automated email to tell you when your membership has been renewed. I think I managed to catch up with all the new mandates yesterday and renew everyone's memberships, but there would have been a delay as I was out with friends and had to do them on slow train WiFi on the way home. The payment won't be requested for another couple of days, but we've assumed all will be successful so are not waiting for that before renewing you.
If you think your membership should have been renewed and hasn't (you can check your expiry date by logging on to the website) get in touch membership@audax.uk asap
