many times, on a Friday and Sat night I've looked on here and its a ghostship. I must be really sad to be the only 'lonesome George' on here, but makes me think, ........are they all in the pub?....

Generally yes. Unless I'm waiting for my wife to arrive back from parts foreign. In which case I'm here with a beer and awesome tunes. According to this beer though, I shouldn't be driving, operating heavy machinery, or posting on the internet.

Me neither.
We do go away for a fair few weekends over the year, but when we don't it tends to be beer and telly at home on Friday evening.
We go out slightly more frequently on a Saturday, but by no means every week.

Ironing in front of Netflix. Followed by a spot of checking work emails (whoops, done some of that already). Then I'll have a beer and more Netflix, instead of working, 'cause it is Friday.

Umm, mainly try to forget work and pretending that I'm of independent means and won't have to lower myself to paid work come Monday. This usually involves dropping by here and other places of interest to see what's happening, a bottle of beer and book about _anything_ other than programming or a bit of aero-modelling. If it's planey stuff then it will definitely be only the one bottle of beer becos scalpel and razor blades.

I'm often out at gigs. I try to see live music most weeks - mostly local bands at pubs. This week I'm out on a Sunday to see The Darkness

This friday night I’m spending In Stratford Upon Avon with my ladies as a prelude to them spending Saturday in a wedding dress boutique looking for a suitable garment for my eldest daughters forthcoming nuptials. I have a history of buying my girls frocks without regard for the cost, but on this occasion I have felt it necessary to impose a limit.

We tend to catch up with friends in the lounge bar over a couple of drinks once a week, not always on a Friday. Nothing excessive and very sociable and convivial evening.

Friday teatime is our meetup in the village pub with friends if I'm working from home.
Saturday night is slob in front of the TV night.

Every night is slob in front of TV here. Missus isn't gregarious, and spending 3 hours cooking & eating as we used to do is forbidden by medical edict. Much less fun without a looooong aperitif anyway.

If I'm on late shift (last week) I'm at work.
If I'm on early shift (this week) I'm asleep, prior to being at work.
If I'm off, I'm probably recovering from one or the other.

Friday night is chippy night. Haddock, chips, peas and a side of Bobb's chip shop curry sauce.

Saturday night is pot luck. Could be kebab, pizza, curry or carvery. Should prolly cook more...

My weekends vary as my weeks mostly alternate 4 or 5 days. Night 1 (Th or F) I collapse dead at about 20:00 until 08:00 at least. Night 2 (F or Sa) I cook if F, Mrs T if Sa and we catch up. Once a fortnight on Saturday we might go out for a meal or gig or more usually just plain relax. Mrs T has a pretty busy schedule too so she's glad of a night of not coping with the cats demands alone. Sundays I'm in bed again by 20:30 for an 04:00 start.

Saturday was spent meandering along the route of the Pymmes Brook in northmost London. Which happened to eventually meander past Beavertown's brewery and Pressure Drop have moved in around the corner, so it seemed churlish not to help reduce some of their stock. That also got rid of Saturday evening.
