Have you ever tried a good quality Ti frame Auntie C? It is simply magic.

No, I haven't.  It's probably a good thing that I don't, though  :D

I think it's lovely.  :D

Mind you, I've also been seen in public in tie-dyed dungarees, so I'm hardly an arbiter of good taste.   :P

That's pretty! If I had a custom ti racing bike of loveliness like that it would be tic-tac orange and green, so i think your zebra stripes are great.

That's a paintjob that's mostly suitable for, errrr . . .

. . . hunting zebra? Out on the veldt? Or good Arctic camouflage?

OK. So I'm jealous. I couldn't afford the paint job - never mind the bike!

Mind you, at the wrong side of 2cwt, I'd probably break it just sitting on it.

Don't leave it locked up anywhere - it won't be there when you come back!

Jealous, depressed and cynical.

Makes me feel ill just looking at it, but I appreciate it as a work of great effort & love.  The cables, in particular, are a triumph.
Getting there...

Can I just say, as a Geordie and Newcastle United fan, I don't like the black and white stripes....

As they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and if you love it and love riding it then that's all that really matters. Me? I'd rather hack off my own left testicle with a biro.

Good Arctic camouflage, then.

Ultegra - it's great, very good gear shifting. My only minor nhiggle is some noise in the centre sprocket, but I think that's due to me not setting it up correctly.

Nokons are something that I've come to love. I miss them when I've not got them.

I've finally got a photo!
...

The coolest bike ever?

Not in my opinion, pretty much everything I dislike in modern bikes, all in one. If you had black spokes you'd have the full set. Sorry but you did ask.

Martin, I sort of had that one figured out. Was actually trying to make fun off the lack of taste and great need for faster, bigger, louder that so many cyclist show sign of, bit like big game hunter in their SUV's thinking this makes them into men... ::-)
As I now see that I failed to provoke any sort of reaction and stiff upper lips prevails I'm out of here. Feel free to answering me back anytime.

Enjoy!

Hmmm! Can't say I do. But would love to discuss both over a glass of 12 year old Cragganmore.

Better hurry over here though, this lovely nectar is almost gone!  :-[
