It is a Solar 2.2, with big inner and outer doors both sides, each with a mesh option.  Not perfect, but the best tent I've used, though the price has shot up since I bought mine.  Decent review here;

Hilleberg flirts with Terra Nova

As Laser Comp eyes up Akto, she admires his hardy masculinity.  At every campsite,  Laser is still in final preparation as Akto is in full erection.   However, some of the delay is due to Laser having the optional groundsheet to protect the delicate bits.

By comparison, Laser is slightly demure, needs a tad more attention to look perfect with all the lines adjusted and re-adjusted until they're just so, and her separate pole cover is so tedious - Akto's protection is always in place to keep unwanted moisture where it should be.

But, Akto's strength carries a weight penalty;  as they ride away in the morning it's Laser who gets the biggest smile.

We had to borrow a friend's garden to put it up in, but it has been tested and proven to be a 4 monkey tent, so long as they're good friends.  And you could just about fit three Crinklies in it, whilst the cubs are small anyway :)

Yebbut have you seen what computer cables do when nobody's watching them? They get impossibly tangled in the clinch and no-one ever gave them any sex education...

Jaded, could you please tell which JPEG editor you used for the speech bubble?  I like.

I almost missed it. When I first glanced at the pic I thought the polythene groundcover in the background was some strange mega-tent :-[
It didn't look at all like that in the photographs

Yeah, I thought the hanging gardens were a bit OTT, tbh.

Our best tent ever: Cabanon. Not even a little bit lightweight.

I like Cabanons, not for the slightly 70s looks but for the way the heavy canvas is wrinkle-free compared to everyone else's tents at the campsite.

that's almost identical to our "standing up" tent.We have a front extension which adds a great deal to the feeling of spaceiousness.*

*is that a proper word?

another look at the pic suggests that the extension is added to the tent.

This is the tent we have just rescued from redundancy :)

Cabanon Guadeloupe Tent, quality pyramide style tent from Cabanon

The front extension is a little longer on ours

A lovely tent! ;-)

It's bomb-proof. Pretty big: tall enough to stand up in and sleeps 2 kids and 2 grown-ups comfortably. Because it's canvas it breathes very well in hot weather -- no sweatiness. You can open the whole thing up, too.

You know, I looked at that picture and immediately thought it was from the seventies, until I noticed the modern cars, tents, clothes etc.
