I actually really wish this one was a euphemism ...

Ha Ha, it makes sense now...

I was assuming that squidge was some kind of character out of a 1980's TV show or something as obviously I am lost when people start doing these kind of references!

Well, I've pretty much committed myself to doing it as a double-overnighter, setting out at about 11pm, more or less straight off the train.

I reckon I should get to see sunrise somewhere round Bodmin Moor, and hopefully th eferry will be running by the time I reach Fowey.  Now to google for bus stops.  I may need one round about Bude on the first night, but I hope I can reach Taunton for the second.

I expect this to be an ultra-full-value ride.

I'm not doing it now.  I await the ride report with interest however, see how the timings work with a 11pm start

As I write, I'm sat on the pavement outside the Happy Shopper in Tiverton, waaay out of time.

I think now is the moment for a sharp   right and head back to Exeter for a pizza and a train.

No. It was always a stretch. I have enough trouble getting round the standard version but this was my best chance of getting a long ride done before Paris and I've achieved that. 500 km done with two overnights. A reminder that I really am bog slow at night so I'll try to avoid night night riding as far as poss on PBP. Also, don't take so much stuff.

I've been for a swim and am eagerly awaiting pizza so a RR will have to wait

Just found this thread, thinking, Oh! I haven't seen this before - then I see a couple of posts from IanH. Must be me.
