I fear that my thought's on Steve's return to cycling may run counter to the general views of the forum.
Over the last couple of months I have been comparing my daily efforts on a bicycle and feeling totally overwhelmed by the comparison between His and my mileage.
Then last week I felt this tinge of smugness as I was sure that I had travelled further the great TG - on a daily like for like basis.
Now I hear that he is coming back and going to cycle one footed with a broken ankle, and even with all these handicaps I know that the universe has corrected its alignment and TG will again dwarf my distance.
