I wasn't far short of it last year, at over 21 miles per day, but I'm nowhere near this year.

If I had a regular decent commute that would make life easier. I think I ought to pretend to commute (isn't it Lee who does this, working form home but starting the day with a regular 20 miler?).

Congrats Gordy! That was an impressively comprehensive piece of overtaking* !

I'm surprised to find 1mph still within range in a "maybe" sort of way.... 168 miles in 7 days....

B*gger -

only just seen this thread - did 8756.5 in 2008 - according to my excel spreadsheet - which is 3.5 miles short - IF 2008 had been a normal year - but the fact thta it was a Leap year has left me 27.5 miles down - wish I had realised - then surely I could have found time to do such a tiny bit extra.

I thought you were just being admirably relaxed about it! Anyway, enjoyed the closeness of your mileage, and Gordy's, while I crept just past the 1mph with a couple of nice Salisbury Plain trips.
