Summer Arrows to York
« on: 16 April, 2008, 09:13:00 am »
Is anyone planning on doing one this year as a lot of you missed out on the Easter one.
I'm planning to cycle to the rally anyway (250km), so might be up to join another ride if anyone has a spare place or wants to set up a team.

Rich.

I might well be up for this.  Will look at it seriously after the BCM...

I'm way out west in Mid-Wales, but can travel fairly readily.  The success or otherwise of our tandem SR will dictate whether or not this is a solo endeavour.

I also don't work Fridays any more which would be quite helpful for this.

I won't get my Brevet 5000 if I don't do an arrow.  I'd be up for it.

Yes, please. I'm in the Bristol area but willing to travel (a bit) to start this one.

Bristol area could be a go-er for me.  I could de-camp to my parents place in Bradford on Avon on the Thursday...

I've never done a Summer arrow.

We've got a sketchy plan for this now.  We are a team of 3 at present, so room for more.

Starting from Bath on the morning of Friday 20th, aiming for 370km ish with a provisional route as follows:

Bath-Cirencester-Banbury-Northampton-Market Harborough-Melton Mowbray-Bingham-Worksop-Doncaster-Selby-York

Would any other (y)ACFers be interested in joining us?
