Wicklow 200 for 2010
« on: 01 December, 2009, 10:38:01 pm »
It's that time again, online entry now open.

New routes on the website too, I haven't looked in detail yet but the start/finish has moved away from the UCD campus to the Shoreline Leisure Centre in Greystones. This might be a good thing as the run back into Dublin at the end was always my least favourite part.

Anyway, I've entered, any other mugs takers?
What's this bottom line for anyway?

Hmm. Maybe I could persuade lady M and heir to make a long weekend of it and visit the ancestral home while we're in the vicinity.  I rode it in 2006 and enjoyed it, apart from the rather random starting procedure (i.e turn up and go when you feel like it).  Looks a good route this year too.
Why should anybody steal a watch when they can steal a bicycle?

I've looked at the route profile on MapMyRide and next year will be slightly easier than this year, 1678m ascent vs 2032 this year with most of the "flatter" bits being at the end where I for one will be grateful!

What's this bottom line for anyway?
