Tewkesbury 100 (7th June)

I haven't done a 100 since I started riding audax back in '06 and Jasmine has never done one as she went from zero-200.

Have signed up for this one though.  It's organised by Louise Rogers (partner of Mark Rigby) and promises to be quite sociable with a some merriment before and/or after the ride.  There is a Wetherspoons hotel (new one on me) near the start which we're going to stay in.  We'll also probably ride singles for a change.

Anybody else tempted?

Yes, good chance I'll do this on my fixed - an easy 1 point towards my FWChallenge award

(Sad isn't it  :-[- collecting all these badges - trainspotting for cyclists!  Must remember to wear my anorak )

The ride would suit fixers well, the one climb on the route is shallow, the rest of the ride - maimly small country roads & lanes.
where you have a concentration of power in a few hands, all too frequently men with the mentality of gangsters get control. History has proven that. Power corrupts; absolute power corrupts absolutely.
