After some discussion after the Three Glens Explorer, I am happy to announce the Third YACF Ecosse end of year shindig in Scotland's capital.
Similar to last year, the plan is to meet at a venue TBC for refreshments around 7pm to be followed by supper at Khushi’s Diner.
The date for your diaries is
SATURDAY 4th DECEMBER 2010, which conveniently avoids a clash with the AUK AGM.
I have taken the liberty of making a table reservation for 28 people (same number as last year). The table is booked for 9pm given Khushi’s “two sittings” policy and our compelling need for pre event hydration. We might be able to bump the numbers up a bit but I suggest booking early to guarantee your place.
If you wish to attend please send me a cheque for £20. Other halves are very welcome and its first come first served.
By popular demand, the YACF Ecosse awards will be back and there should be stiff competition for the podium places in what has been a rollercoaster year, quite literally for those involved in German level crossing based incidents. All nominations welcome, either privately to me by PM or publicly here (remember to play nicely though.)
Given that it’s in December, Mr Khushi has told me we will be selecting from the Christmas menu which should be available in November. In the meantime here’s the website to get your taste buds tingling
Khushis Diner - Authentic Indian Restaurant Edinburgh.
And its a BYOB place-
Mrs G is planning to attend and I just know she is sooooooo looking forward to discussions on campag v shimano, crank lengths, info controls and PBP.
