I am up, and there is no thread!

Heading NE again today - Fleet Hargate café or Spalding Frankie & Benny's?

But no air frost. It's a balmy 1 deg C.

Strange plan, its snowing here now and is settling, and flurries forecast all day in the East. He might get blown home as it turns more Easterly.

Snowing here west of MK too, but only in places. I'm sure he's checked the forecast, and prefers a tailwind on the way back.

Steve knows what he's doing.  That's what I've learned after a month of watching.

Go Steve!

And don't lose any bikes ;)
Getting there...

Very lightly snowing here, just a few miles SW of Marsh Gibbon.
9 miles SW of Marsh Gibbon

400km east of Marsh Gibbon the sun is shining, there is half an inch of snow on the ground, but the cycle paths have been gritted and are clear.

Go Steve.

As he heads towards March, how many times do you think Steve will visit March in March?

Equally intriguing - will he ever visit Marsh Gibbon and March on the same day? In March as a bonus?
Seems unlikely given where his hq is, but nothing is impossible, esp for SuperSteve!

And will he ever visit Friday Bridge on a Friday, especially in March after visiting March

Looks like he's heading to Friday bridge on Thursday this week. Maybe it should be renamed in honour of the great TG?

There's a Saturday Bridge in Brum, but he'd be better off avoiding the West Midlands Conurbation

I reckon he's going for another double today. He's near enough 100 miles from home in a virtually straight line.

With a nice following wind. Though the headwind didn't bother him this morning.

Over on Facebook, Steve has been spotted and photographed.
Looking good!

As is typical for Facebook, I cannot now see the beaming face of the Man in RED or his bike computer.

No gaunt, 1000 mile stare!

I'd feel bold setting out now for a 50 mile ride.  Without having done 140+ miles already.  And the same sort of distance day in day out for 35 days.

Hope he's not superstitious as he's about to go thru 6666 miles.

Don't stop for a few miles Steve.

If the forecast temperatures are similar to here, then riding a little later would probably be beneficial. It's still 5oC outside right now where I am.
