Hope you are having a good day Steve, twas rather damp here first thing but has turned into a rather nice day now.

Edit: I see there is some harsh comments directed at Steve in the comments section after his ride yesterday (25th) on Strava,  although the person(s) who made them I think is under a barrage of return fire.

Hopefully Steve's sticking to the traditional RED outfit today, and not The Yellowed Thong of Ambition.

Good point

It'll be coole in Goole, dry in Rye, the heat will be chokin' em in Wokingham and, if you live in Lissingdown, take an umbrella.

Very funny.

Allez Steve

Survived one of the more miserable commutes this morning. It was especially disheartening given the BBC forecast indicated tailwinds and instead it was a front-quarterly cross wind and quite strong too.

Hope Steve is having a fair better time of it today.

GO STEVE!

I was trying to post on Strava wishing "Adam Day" luck and mentioning in passing that when Steve did Mont Ventoux he did it on 84" fixed and hardly broke sweat. This may contain traces of Lie, but I would have liked to have seen AD's reaction. It is perhaps just as well that the Ipad's interface with Strava seems not to be conducive to actually posting anything, so that wasp's nest remained unpoked - by me, at least.

Nah best left alone I reckon, he was doing a similar thing in Kurts ride from yesterday as well.

...... or do a little internet research and send an email to his boss asking him to stop Adam spending all day trolling cycling websites.

The only Adam Day I could see in Hitchin (where the Strava one's profile says he is based) is the MD of a firm of Estate Agents.  I have no idea if it's actually the same one though.

I'm feeling bullish and will go 5 - it's been a headwind and interview much of the day, I recon a few more twiddles around the block will be on the cards.

I think four. On THE BIG GIBBON DAY Steve repeated a roughly 60 min loop with a Gibbon in it innit a number of times.
If he Gibbons for the first time today at 5pm he could then do the loop three times before moving on to MK.

If he does 3, then March will edge ahead of January in Gibbons.

Looks like a tight pattern around MARSH GIBBON this evening; the tracker is lagging a bit but it should be two by now.

Now heading away.  So will it be a Crazy Ivan back to increase the tally or will I have had more success at predictions than in my recent visit to Cheltenham ?
