A massive thank you goes out to MK Cycling (http://www.mk-cycling.com) the mobile bike mechanic service who attended to Steve's two ailing bikes at just an hour's notice. The broken tri-bars have now been replaced on one bike and the failed bottom bracket on the other. The show goes on...

I assume that given he has three bikes, this has not had any direct effect on his opportunity to ride today. Good on MK Cycling to fix the others though.

I thought Steve had a bike shop in MK servicing the bikes on a set rotation   Another supporter pulled out it looks like.  They who are easily found by a search but shall not be mentioned by name are no longer listed on Steves Sponsors page.

No, Stripes are still sponsoring.  They have moderately long leads times and stuff needed doing at short notice,  so Idai's mechanic stepped in.
