Many years ago, returning home from a tour of Wales, I rode through Marsh Gibbon and I have always loved the name. Go Steve!

I have visions of Steve arranging his route so to pass the 75,065 mile point as he draws into Marsh Gibbon, the streets lined with crowds of yacfers cheering, barbecuing sausages and toasting Marsh~~gibbons~~mallows while the residents look on in puzzlement.

Maybe even as the fifth in a record-breaking quinGibbon so he can be cheered through on each of the previous loops.

Some psephological trivia relating to Marsh Gibbon:-

it is in the Buckingham constituency
the Speaker is its current MP
Robert Maxwell was the MP between 1964 and 1970
in 2005 John Bercow, then a Conservative MP, had the biggest majority of any Tory MP
a Gibbon has never represented the seat

I like the Southern Bornean gibbon, hylobates albibarbis. White bearded gibbons, eh? My favourite sort.
