I have short wide feet.

I find Shimano shoes fit ok.

These ones are comfy and decently stiff.  Ok for a bit of walking

Conversely, I find Shimano shoes are narrow as I also have size 7 wide feet.  I therefore use Specialized which I how found to be the most comfy cycling shoes I have ever worn.  I have two pairs, one Sport MTB and one Tahoe.

+1  I have found Specialised Body Geometry shoes the most comfortable ever---but check that they can take SPDs.  (I use Look cleats)

I have very wide feet, both shimano and spesh BG are too narrow, happy with my northwaves though

Shimano and Sidi do wide fit versions of several shoes. In Shimano it is shown as, e.g. 43W tather than 43.

Northwave are pretty wide, but the sizing is much larger than, say, a Specialized for the given size so beware.

I am guessing these are end of line (hence the odd sizes available) but are these what you are looking for (and yes UK7 is available)

ETA Cannondale have exclusive distribution rights for Diadora, acquired after their purchase of Sugoi in 2005.  This may explain why they no longer make cycling shoes, and why some of the Diadora range look suspiciously like Cannondales....

Ditto on the short wide feet problem.  I'm using a pair of Specialized BG MTB shoes with Shimano M520 spd pedals and I'm pretty happy with them.   Unfortunately they're coming up for 10 yrs old and the style/model number has worn off.
