BBC Spoprt - App dowmload frozen.

Trying to update the BBS Sport app on an iPad 2. It's frozen mid-download, and cannot be deleted. From what I can find I'm not alone in having this happen, but have yet to come across a resolution. Has anyone?

I assume the problem is with the App rather than the iPad. 2 things worth trying:
1. Reset and restart the iPad (hold down home and sleep button togther until the Apple logo appears)
2. Connect iPad to iTunes and re-download app to computer and re-install app to iPad.

I've had this issue with some apps in the past. I've usually just ignored it and found that the next time I synced it, the app sorted itself out.
