I have something like 4 empty gas cylinders at the mooring. I have angle grinders, jigsaws, welder. Sounds like a recipe for a home-made stove.

Sounds like a recipe for a home-made stove.Apologies if this is teaching grandma to suck eggs...I remember a mate talking about making stoves out of old gas cylinders and saying that you have to be very careful about residual gas - not just in the cyclinder, but kind of absorbed into the metal? So if you haven't cut a gas cylinder up before, it's worth looking up some advice from those in the know.
