Exogrid?

For your enjoyment, some shiny new Santana-pr0n  :P:

     http://santanatandem.com/Bikes/ExoGridupgrade.html

They seem to be a mixture of carbon composite + metal of your choice, but details are scarce!  Has anyone seen one in the metal/carbon yet?  What do you actually get for your $2000?

Lots of sales talk <a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/snPqOb1UdPo&rel=1" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/snPqOb1UdPo&rel=1</a> and <a href="http://www.youtube.com/v/c6U9xHQunmU&rel=1" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/v/c6U9xHQunmU&rel=1</a>. No idea if it's just marketing spiel; other on this forum probably know better.

Thanks!  Looks like those were only posted yesterday, so maybe that's why they didn't show up when I was looking around.

Chance of us getting one any time soon: 0.000
Pr0n factor: high  :)

Oh man, Bill really is into his crazy new fangled bike parts isn't he?  :)

But IMO it's always great to see innovation, and nice to have it first on tandems too. Have to see how this pans out in fullness of time.

Hmmm when we were at JD 18 months ago, they were talking about a new option to have a carbon drain pipe put into any frame, but details of this never went on Santana's website. I wonder if it was actually a precursor to this.

Oh, I see they've had a general rearrange of their website. Some broken links, and still has photos of the old v-max carbon fork I see.
But they're now offering Di2 shifting and Gates belt drive options. toys toys toys!

Lots of sales talk here and here. No idea if it's just marketing spiel; other on this forum probably know better.

Bill doesn't do Santana any favours does he?   ::-)

He appears to claim Exogrid is a Santana process but the videos are surrounded by advertising for Exogrid baseball bats f'rinstance!

Where was it recorded, Sea Otter perhaps?
