Following on from Ceitidh's thread, which language would you choose, if a genie told you that you could master one language overnight?

I quite fancy Arabic.

Japanese, because it appears to be virtually impossible for a foreigner to get beyond 'baby talk', that is to learn all the forms of speech used by different groups of people.

sorry, YC but not Gaelic. My kids speak a little, and growing up here they all have Stornoway accents, but I don't like the language
