Right about Wow. The other chap is the late Peter Blewett (his name is inscribed on the side of Leigh-on-Sea Sally Army minibuses). Place: top of Ditchling Beacon, BHF London to Brighton ride, 1983. Peter is wearing a T-shirt advertising the Spread Eagle, Prittlewell. Also a keen chess-player, Peter and I had a fair bit in common.

Those of you that have met me know I'm very tall ... but even this bike was beyond my ability to ride .... - no points or prizes for knowing where it's located..

It makes my 28" frame Flying Gate look small
