Right about Wow. The other chap is the late Peter Blewett (his name is inscribed on the side of Leigh-on-Sea Sally Army minibuses). Place: top of Ditchling Beacon, BHF London to Brighton ride, 1983. Peter is wearing a T-shirt advertising the Spread Eagle, Prittlewell. Also a keen chess-player, Peter and I had a fair bit in common.

Wiggle have just delivered ...

I decided I wanted a cycling cap and as the Tour de France is on I thought I would find a team to support.  I love the way Tour teams are often sponsored by companies that sell such dull stuff so I did an internet dullness survey.

And the winner was the Quickstep team whose secondary sponsor is Innergetic.  Quickstep make laminate flooring and Innergetic are even duller:

Quote

Or put another way ...

Quote
Innergetic is a trademark of Latexco , one of leading manufacturers in the European market of foam mattress cores . Through our ongoing investments in research and development and our collaboration with centers and laboratories of leading European sleep Innergetic aims to offer the best in technology sleep .

Love it  ;D
