What were we thinking?
We'd have been on that ride had Polly not been recovering from a knee operation (She's still recovering

it's taking so long) especially had we known there was another tandem just like ours.
We bought it as a first tandem, but it's done us well, we've been to the south of France three times on it. Narrow tyres have helped a lot - and replacing bits like the steel handlebars with alloy have helped to reduce the weight. It only weighs around 45 lbs, with pedals, but perhaps that's because it's small - the seat tubes are 15" and 12", we're both short.
