Islabikes updated Cnoc 16

Excuse me if this is in the wrong place!

Thought it was worth bringing to people's attention that Islabikes have an updated version of the Cnoc 16. I know this because I ordered my son one yesterday (exciting!). The nice man on the phone explained they are just in the process of rolling these out - thanks to improved pedals and wheels he reckoned they have got the weight down by 20%. The (inevitable) downside is a price hike - up £30 to £199.99. Worth noting however that this is offset by the fact delivery is now free, so actually it's only £18 up on what I was expecting to pay.

In my unbridled enthusiasm I forgot to ask if there were other models being updated, or whether the "old" version of the Cnoc 16 was still available (although I did get the impression that they were without specifically asking). Apologies for that!

Will post a review once he's on it!

Isla Rowntree and the team had the whole range on display at Mildenhall rally, and they have certainly upgraded most of the smaller models. They've even gone as far as having hubs made to their own spec.
If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is...

Yes my understanding is they've got redesigned hubs with fewer spokes.
