Between 5pm on June 30 and 6am on July 1 Palmer had sent over 150 text messages, the court heard.

He pleaded guilty so he'll have got a substantial discount - a third? That implies that something like twelve or thirteen years would have been the undiscounted tariff.

Umm.. they were going from JOG-LE and the collision occurred in Sutherland.  :(
