« on: 03 March, 2024, 08:16:16 pm »
Final draft of the route ha been sent out and entries closed.
250 riders. The largest to date I think.
I'll be riding to the start day before via the Harwich ferry.
Will you be about Julia? Drop by and say hello if you are!

All being well I'll be checking your bike for the bike check.

Make sure you've got all the required reflective tape etc ...

just read it by chance. Nice one!
Currently filling up on heavy fish and chip type fare at a pub B&B in Essex prior to riding to the Harwich ferry tomorrow night and on to bike check.
It will be cool meeting the Caribbean entrant, a neighbour 900 miles to the South of me in Bermuda.  ;-)
Also looking forward to meeting you of course!. x

LOL Both are common misconceptions. It's often surprising to people how far North Bermuda is.
There is a big diaspora with the Islands in both directions to the South too so so me strong ties.
We used to do a fair bit of boating and cycling in the Bahamas (until our boat cape a cropper in Dorian) We had a couple of folding boat bikes that I likely posed about a ways back.
see you tomorrow.
