strange things carried by cycle tourers

We shared pasta with an Argentine cycle tourer at a Casa de Ciclistas in Manihuales. Not odd, you might think. Except he'd made the fresh pasta himself. Using the pasta maker he always carries on bike tours (we had to give him an inner tube as he'd prioritised the pasta maker over tools...).

What's the strangest thing you've seen cycle tourers carry (you've carried yourself)?

We were cycling around the Inner Hebrides and as we headed to the ferry at Leverburgh three lads rode past heading north, one was carrying a banjo, one had a wooden ice-cream maker and the other one had something stupid shaped that clearly wasn't stupid/witty enough to stick in my head.
