Camping in Oxford
« on: 03 June, 2014, 06:56:28 pm »
Mrs. Wow and I are going to give our Icarus 500 an outing at the riverside campsite just south of Oxford over the weekend of 13th-15th June. We will mostly be visiting our daughter, who is coming to the end of her Masters year and will, not long after we visit, be buggering off to Australia for a two-month assignment related to the course.

I think it's going to be a pretty full weekend. We are hoping to visit a museum or two (Pitt Rivers has been recommended) as well as doing the parental duty.

Pitt Rivers IS most Excellent!
The Youngs beer in the Kings Arms in Broad Street is most Excellent!
The Coffee in Zappis Cafe above Bike zone is also most Excellent!
Have an Excellent weekend!

Pitt Rivers is a load of odd stuff in glass cases.  The adjacent National History museum is great, though.
