:( No can see the picky :(

I would be jealous, if I hadn't found a DY the right size for me (and I think Fungus was glad I had realized my previous DY was too small for me :) )

Piccy is on OP's own computer and needs to be put on Flickr or similar before we can see it.
Lovely day for a new bike though...

Lovely colour, I am guessing, from the teasing photos, that it is a mixte/step thru frame?

HOW did you do that with the pic? I'm such a dweeb.
YES it's PINK! It is just the prettiest thing ever. It's a mixte (although strictly speaking not, as it has a single top tube... so almost step through) and Dave let me make my own colour and everything. A perfect experience from start to finish. What a lovely man.
Here it is on my sofa with Freddie the cat.

Please someone explain how I get my pics to show up on  my posts?
Thank you!

In flickr, right click the picture and then select one size. When that opens up, right click it, select properties, then copy the URL (which ends in jpg). Then place that URL in between the image tags.
(img) and (/img) except that you use square brackets not curvy ones.
Does that make sense ?

Still no .jpg on the end of that URL.

I pasted the URL from your post into my browser, then clicked on the photo, then right click, chose a size and clicked the size I wanted. Right clicked the resulting picture and then copied the URL.

Do we need to add a sub-clause to the Marmite Rule which requires that any photo of an unbuilt frame requires that a cat be in shot?

It's a beauty... As I funded this very carefully considered purchase with the sale on ebay of 'shrunk out of clothes due to all the cycling I've been doing' I'm not sure what I have to do now to save up for all the other bits!
But I can't wait, my legs are very keen.

I like the signature, it's not new but I fancied being a bit subtle (haha, pink, I know...).  But if your favourite colour is pink you have to get classy where you can find it!!!!
Here it is, dreaming about being finished. The dog always looks disturbed...

Too right - shiny wins every time.

(Are those rims black, though? Shinier ones are available (http://hubjub.co.uk/index.php/store/rims/h-plus-son-tb14-detail)...;))

All Pink (http://www.durotire.com/ProductDetails/tabid/218/ProductId/139/Default.aspx) - though I suspect import only
Mostly pink (http://www.wiggle.co.uk/halo-twin-rail-courier-road-tyre/)
Then there's pink-striped stuff, from Michelin, Schwalbe & Vredestien

Pink's nice ;)

When I was looking for Burple tyres for Mrs T's Carlton (painted by the excellent Mr Yates) I opted for Halo tyres.  Like this:

CrinklyAuntie's pink bike was wearing its 'going out shoes' when I saw it at the weekend, which are pink.  I did try searching on here to find a pic/what they are but failed abysmally.  She seems to like 'em, anyway - both as tyres and for their pinkness.

It's tempting, I must say. If they did Schwalbe Marathon Plus's in pink there would be no dithering. Just wondering how many gears to award myself....

Not M+, but Schwalbe do Delta Cruisers (http://www.velo-group.de/Reifen-Schwalbe-Delta-Cruiser-40-635#.Uyorc86Vo1c) in pink (I've seen some, and they were *very* pink).

Pink chains are available, too... ;)

Wow... I have found pink pedals that seem to match the frame, I have it in front of the fireplace so I can plot my next move in the evenings. Nice things to be doing.
And yes, yuk to the white grips... but wow to the wheels!

Well here it is! All done, and considering my smallish budget (it's all relative!) I am delighted with the job my LBS did for me. That's the Cycle Centre in Penzance. So between Dave Yates and the LBS I have got myself what has turned out to be a very fast and comfy every day bike.

It's a bracket for a 'walkydog', a device that lets my dog run with me safely, a brilliant piece of kit. She loves the bike and has done 2,000 miles with me so far! I have been roundly told off by the LBS and my cycling friends for daring to  put my old, battered, cheap pannier rack on my new shiny bike, so will remedy that as soon as I have recovered from paying for all this!
All in all, I can't recommend everyone highly enough for putting this together for me, it's been a joy from start to finish.  ;D  8)
