s-3. That bit, according to a mate who was an engineer for Express Lifts in Northampton lighthouse (proper mechanical one - 1st. Hon. + superb mechanical aptitude) is jerk. To be avoided in a lift as the occupants really don't like it.

Put a set of .009 strings on the Squier Strat and adjusted absolutely everything using feeler gauges and such stuff.  It plays almost as well as the SG now, but can make a somewhat wider range of sounds.  It was a Vintage Modified Surf Strat but a previous owner put MIM Fender controls and aftermarket Alnico pickups in it.

Tyres now 80psi
Tightened headset a little to just the point before it gets “not smooth” even though there was no play.
Serviced Freehub
Checked hub bearings and nipped them up as far as they’ll allow while spinning freely
Dropped the stem 10mm and whapped the 2 spacers on the top
Greased and double checked skewers

Will report
