I was given the book "One man and his bike" for my birthday and it was promptly appropriated by my wife!
Last night she was chortling away as apparently whilst in Scotland Mike Carter met a recumbent rider (one of ours?) and describes the experience as cycling with them as being " like riding with a sidecar"
She thought it a very apt and appropriate description, and I must admit I quite like it myself
