Awesome!!! That path along the Colne is going to be great fun on 23's in the dark

I am pretty free on Friday's and Saturday's at the moment and considering I avoid most social occasions in London I will just fit into what suits others. I would obviously have to lay down the law at home ! (I hope the good lady never EVER finds this!)

It takes me back to my last Witham Cycling led ride with Oros as I made my way along the Flitch Way on 23's, just waiting for Huggy and OD to deliver their verdicts and we can hopefully start to look at formulating a date

If I can find a chauffeur I will do my best to join you for a drink.
I'm about to go out on my bike, because I can  :P. If you want a chauffeur and I'm insured, only a named driver here, I'll drive you over to Rodders in the Leaf.

The driving is the easy bit. I can do that - my leg is perfectly OK for walking on. It's what happens after a few drinks that matters! As it happens, you aren't innsured. The best bet is if Dez comes with us as he doesn't drink. If I can persuade him to come would you like a lift?

Yes please Wow, I'd like a closer look at the Leaf.
I'll come over on the Brompton if Dez is okay with driving.

Give them time and they'll be just as inebriated as most of us!  O:-)

I like Wow's Nissan Leaf and Tomsk's new bike.
Beer was good, company was good, and chat was good.

Certainly was an enjoyable evening with some Squadron Scramble consumed as well as some rather tasty Pucks Folly! Looks like everyone is interested in the night ride so how are peoples diaries looking to get a date in before the end of the year?

I think last night we agreed a Friday night would probably work best, the only Friday I can't do in November will be the 6th

PS - Del I'll have you know i'm 5'' 9 ;)

Don't worry, del gets jealous of anyone taller than him, which to be honest, isn't difficult  ;D   :-*

Re the night ride, I will do my best to go with the consensus, although a Friday night would probably work better for me.

Final call for anyone wanting stuff from Rose Bikes in Germany, I'd like to put an order in over the weekend.

Glad you all had a good time last night

Good news with the night ride OD as the Friday seemed to be the popular night to ride

Re: Fridays - next week probably not as there's a chance Mrs T and I might get away for a few days at the end of her half-term. November is ok, with the possible exception of 14th, as its the day after I have my appointment with the vampires blood donor clinic. At least I'll be bleeding voluntarily though.....

Errr, no. It looks like I am buggered for every Friday night and weekend in November. December isn't looking much better. I reckon I'll be abLe to get out on me bike again just as the weather turns really shit. Smashing.
