I'd like to continue my rehydration therapy on Wednesday, but the saddle sores are limiting distance, so a central venue would be much appreciated

Keeping the marquee for a few extra days is going to be a little too expensive. So I’ve decided to do the talk this Wednesday at 9pm at TSH. Hope a few of you can make it.
You can’t just call time out and stroll on into the beach if you don’t like the way things are goin’.

Sounds good.

There may be a few showers about on Wednesday, so do make sure the sound system, projectors and screens, lighting, etc are well protected. Is there a support act?

Maybe Grey Sheep could warm up the crowd with some chat about LEL?

If they heard OD playing a kazoo the Morris Dancers would club him then strangle him with a handkerchief as a service to music.

A little known fact. OD is a Morris Dancer. jiberjaber has photographic proof.

This is good news for me as I'm away next week and I was very sad to miss your talk! This week, I will move mountains to be there if needs be. Will update soon!

Changing the subject... you'll recall last week I was doing some filming with a view to seeing how easy it was to produce YouTube type videos.   Transpires it isn't hard at all and I'm quite pleased with my first attempt, although there is a long way to go before I consider myself anywhere near competent.  If those present last week don't mind, and anyone would like to see my first ever edited video, I'll upload to YouTube and post a link.

There seems to be much wetness descending from the sky, I know we wanted rain but it could have waited until tomorrow  ::-)

I don't particularly fancy riding through a torrent but also don't want to miss josser's talk which I believe is entitled "I didn't get chased by wolves or bears but the TCR was still pretty tough don't you know?".  So if its still wanging it down I'm happy to drive over to The SH taking 4 persons with me.  I of course will be on the non-alcoholic stuff all evening.

Perhaps we wait to see what the weather does?

The weather prediction for CM8 (Metcheck variant) is for little or no further rain... roads will be wet though and it's still rather warm.
Perfect sandal weather, I will ride over on a bike with mudguards and a waterproof available in case the weather disagrees with the prediction.
