I'm coming from Mile End. Beers first with the chaps here and then I'll be on my way. I'll aim for 1900, but who knows!

I have my Mum staying.   I'm pretty sure disappearing for a couple of hours is a no-no.

I'm heading North for a couple of days but are there any plans for next week ?

That could have been quite funny.  Imagine Mrs T spotted a mistake and we had to use a scalpel plus needle and thread to make a correction!  ;D

A laser works better apparently (scene from an ancient bond film springs to mind!).

Alternatively just say it was translated from latin (public school pupils may then take an interest but most humans would shut up very quickly).

Is there a plan this week? I'm potentially back....
Couple of options...

CHM: Xmas beer festival at The Woolpack or 'Dev (I prefer the latter as not a GK pub )

We've plans for tonight, but on Saturday morning, a club-run is a possibility.

This Wednesday....

I'll offer up the usual 'dev (my fav CHM pub of late)
If you're feeling flush from aunties Xmas card money, The Viper is due a visit too....

(I heard the other day that the QH Boreham have bought the OT in CHM so might be a positive change... subject to early closing obvs :D )

Bell Inn may appease the Easterners if they can make it out of their lairs  ;D I've not done it yet... would be a new one for me...

Rail strike on Wednesday so 'Dev out for me.

Haven't been to the Bell for years.  Would check opening times.

We need an EER visit to the Alma soon (supporting our lockdown favourites).  Happy generally with the Swan at Totham and the Sun at Feering.

I'm about Wednesday, Dads Taxi service starts back next week.

Swan is fine for me but I'll be driving not cycling.

If there is a West Essex split, I'll cycle.

Called in to the Bell in Feering for a recce. 3 local brew pumps on with a spare. Plenty of tables & space, bike parking against a wooden bar fence in the car park, garden for the warmer evenings plus a pétanque area.
The £5 per pint may be discouraging though.

I’m stuck WFH all week so could actually get out for a couple of hours.

Discovered one of A’s running mates lives 200yds from the Endeavour when we collected her Sunday morning.   This also helped me work out where the Endeavour is.
