Tent repair materials

Checking over the Nallo 3 GT I discovered a nick in the sewn in groundsheet of the inner.  Must be about 2cms long.

I've never had such a problem before.  Anybody got any suggestions of a cheap but effective repair please?  I was almost tempted to use a Park Tyre Boot  :)

I use waterproof sail repair tape, from yonder chandlers.
It takes blood and guts to be this cool but I'm still just a cliché.

I'd use a goretex repair patch
a) I've got one
b) the patch that's been on the elbow of my Gore jacket since just after the second time I wore it, about 5 years ago, is still in place with no sign of leakage or lifting round the edges.
