"Age-adjusted" IQ

WTF?  I thought IQ automatically reflected age.

Oh well, whatever. I just did Raven's Matrices and my "age-adjusted" score showed a 20-point decline from when I first did them in 1969.  I'd like to know how normal (or otherwise) this might be.

I suppose I could take them again and lie about my age, but I don't feel like forking out another 20 clams.

What the hell, I'm still well above the theoretical mean. And the average.

Humph. Didn't get a headache when I was 22. Bugger.
