I know that some of you good people will have met our son Dez, an occasional cyclist but tech support/designer for this forum since its inception to late last year. Dez occasionally joined in some of the Wednesday evening merriment, usually driving so that I could imbibe.

Sadly, Dez died of cancer on 25th March, two days before his 45th birthday, and his funeral will be on 3rd May at 1pm, here: https://oldparkmeadow.co.uk/

It would be good to see some of you there.

A central venue: that's usually Chelmsford or Gt Waltham/Broads Green? Though I don't think we've been to the White Hart at Little Waltham for ages ...

I need to get myself organised for the Tourdax so won't be out this evening, if that allows you to go further west.
I think the White Hart at Little Waltham is quite foodie now, so although nice it may not be an obvious MEMWNS venue.

(AUK Board meeting tomorrow evening so no Tourdax prep time then
