Ive done it and enjoyed it the last two years. Unfortunately not this year as I need to spend time with the family, before attempting the BCM next week. I'll try not to be jealous :(

Don't try and order food at the 3rd stop (?Hunters Hall?). Last year, I got there near the head of the field and even without any queue, spent over 45mins!! waiting for them to serve food. It could have been worse though as I had pleanty of time in hand to spend with the family who had agreed to meet me there.

The climb out of Control 2 is fun - don't eat too much!
It is simpler than it looks.

Carrying own provisions is a good idea,
as both controls 2 and 3 are on the slow side -
especially with a large field of riders,
speaking to organiser yesterday, over 90 entries

Not this year - instead a late decision to drive east 100 miles to do the Taste of the Test 200K. Hope its worth the fossil fuelled miles!
