Looks like it was novovirus.
I think you'll find it's a bit more complicated than that.

You know for some reason I have always called it novovirus, don't know why. Someone must have said that to me once and it has just stuck in my head. Mrs Pcolbeck works in a big primary school and it goes round at least once a winter, nasty little bug but relatively harmless.

And very very difficult to clear out of hospitals.  :(

Bad luck for the Fat Duck - norovirus is pretty much everywhere.  But it is right that they should have been closed until it was identified and eradicated.

I hear he serves 'oysters' made from cooked snot which is simply disgusting. Oysters are pretty foul anyway but to fake them with cooked mucous is not even funy.  Serving stuff like that I am not surprised peoiple get ill. It is completely unhygenic. And as for people who would pay £100's to eat phlegm - they are perverts.

I've just booked a table for 2 for 2 months time  ;D

I think the tasting menu is £150 a head. Me and the gf have been saving every £2 coin we've got for the past year to fund it...

She's vetoed me paying for the meal using the aforementioned £2 coins though  :(
