Has anyone had any experience of these patches?
I p*nctured today and BOTH my spare tubes were holed (and one was a box fresh Conti race 25). Bad luck or what eh?
So I had to resort for the first time ever to the Zefal glueless patches that I always carry. Instructions followed, adhesion was good and all seemed fine but not 500m down the road and the tyre is hissing again. Turns out the patch had split. Further testing showed that the patch neither expands with the fully inflated tube nor is strong enough to take the pressure - and simply splits.
Still, it was a pleasant enough afternoon for a walk.
