Whatever my daughter has chucked out recently (except that some are not so recent) because it bugs, crashes or otherwise refuses to respond to her (sometimes unreasonable) demands. This one is an HP Pavilion G series with some sort of an AMD processor, a big screen, a 120gb SSD and an unauthentic Windows7 ('cos we replaced the old hd which went west). This one alsp runs a live Linux (Puppy) off a CD sometimes. The case is melted, the screen is held on by one hinge but I like it (and try to stop it breaking up any further).
The other laptop is another HP (not a clue offhand what the model is or the processor for that matter). 500gb hd, W10. She gave it to me as part of a deal where I bought her a new Asus laptop. The W10 crashed and blue screened and had to be reset to factory config. It still sulks from time to time. I hate W10 but so far I have not managed to get into the boot settings to boot a CD so it stays. Not a much loved laptop! (but much used all the same).
The tower which runs the printer is a pc recovered in a flat clean-out and otherwise destined for the tip. I think it is an Acer, probably some sort of Intel processor, 4gb ram, 1tb hd, running a bizarre W10 with Office, Nero etc and no user account (just User!). If ever it bugs it will get Linux but for now it behaves, albeit a bit slow. I think it might be a W10 upgrade when MS were offering them for W8 and 8.1 boxes
