Whilst not officially an Audax, I'm riding this again as a DIY. So thought others might find it of interest.

I can't quite work out why they've missed out South Gare. Sure, it is a big 'ole loop of Yorkshire, but it misses one of the furthest flung points in the northeast before heading to the furthest flung point of the southeast.

To be fair, that's a hideous road - it's filling-removingly-bumpy even in a car/van.

But the post-industrial view is amazing... and it really is in the far flung corner of Yorkshire. And then you get the excellent ride from Redcar to Saltburn and down the Yorkshire coast.

It seems to have missed out Saddleworth too.

As it happens I've just completed a much easier 600km DIY Perm which was within just two counties, Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, taking in Saddleworth, Goole, Leeming Bar, Boston and York.  It hadn't occurred to me to stick to just Yorkshire itself, but then it would have given me a much harder ride.
