I've been told by a member that, sadly, Geoffrey Cleaver passed away on Wednesday while out cycling.Geoff will be best known as an event organiser in the Tamworth area in the Midlands. He held a Randonneur Organiser Award at the 5000 level and his events were popular with many AUKs and other riders. He also supported other event organisers in the surrounding area by regularly helping out on their eventsAs a rider he was a keen participant in Randonneur Round The Year with x7 achievement.For some years he has been a member of the Calendar Events team as Regional Events Delegate for the Midlands & Eastern England.I'm sure there will be many members who have appreciated his efforts and achievements.
