I still look back at this ride with a feeling that I don't normally get a week after : excitement !!

Sure it's a very hard ride, and it might push some of you harder than you've been pushed before, but I assure you that it'll be worth it.....

I've also worked on the translation....

I’ve decided I’m not old. I’m 25 .....plus shipping and handling.

 That's about it - or as near as makes little difference. Because of subtle nuances in the Welsh language, I don't think any translation engine can translate the title literally.

There are campsites at the locations below, but it may be worth checking if they're open in winter.
Lower Lode, it's about a 20 minute cycle ride from the start/arrivee, further details at http://www.lowerlodeinn.co.uk/
Haw Bridge, roughly 25 - 30 mins away by bike. http://www.hawbridgeinn.co.uk/
Croft Farm camp site 5 - 10 minutes from the start, quite a few cyclists have used it in the past - and have rated quite highly. http://www.croftfarmleisure.co.uk/

Well I am looking forward to the Machynlleth mountain road repeat looking at the weather forecast its looking rather good and more importantly not too cold for the night period which saves towing tons of clothing around.

What distance is Mach?

I'm riding in the opposite direction from home so I may see some of you (provided I actually get out of bed)

Entered back in January without checking the details. Now I have I've been thinking about it all week. Never started to write up a ride prior to the event before - http://www.monaxle.com/2016/05/26/fynyddoedd-ac-anialwch-niwlog-over-the-mountains-and-misty-wildernesses/

Cheers to all those taking part. Best wishes for finishing within time and having a story to bore friends and family with.

Currently unsure as to whether ICBA tbh

If it was due to be a bad weather weekend I'd be there, but loosing out on a load of mountainbiking in good weather, I am not finding so appealing. It's really 1 x 400 then make up sleep or 3 x fun times on a MTB. Decisions, decisions......

I might have a last minute change of decision like normal though.

(I'm off to help at a control somewhere in Bude .  I'd rather be riding somewhere, but it wasnt to be.)

Have fun everyone!

Slow moving thundery showers spread in a line along the route. Could be epic.  I didn't fancy epic today so I stayed in bed.

Don`t think they`ll be that bad--certainly not compared to deluges Builth and Aber received yesterday pm / evening

Indeed Rhys, that's very similar to the Bing translation, which was earlier in the this topic

Over Mountains and Woolly Desert

Except for the woolly bit...

Whatever it means, the actual countryside is magnificent !
